2026 Community Goals
Welcome to the Holden Park Community – 2026
The Holden Park Community Association exists for one simple reason: to bring neighbors together and make our community better—by choice, not by obligation.
At our first meeting of 2026, residents came together to reaffirm what makes Holden Park special. We are not a mandatory HOA. There are no fines, no enforcement patrols, and no required participation. Instead, we are a volunteer-driven neighborhood association focused on improving our shared spaces, enhancing the image of our community, and creating opportunities for neighbors to connect.
Whether you are a current member, a past participant, or someone who has never joined before, there is a place for you here.
2026 Board Members
The following residents were elected to serve the community for 2026:
- Joe Boy – President
- Alex Perez – Vice President
- Kim Russell – Treasurer
- Jenna Escobar – Secretary
- Kevin Rocks – Member-at-Large
This board represents a mix of experience, fresh ideas, and a shared commitment to transparency, collaboration, and steady improvement.
Why the Community Association Exists
Holden Park’s Community Association was created to:
- Improve the appearance and shared amenities of the neighborhood
- Encourage neighbor involvement and connection
- Host community events and gatherings
- Preserve and enhance our lake access and common areas
- Advocate for the community when working with the county or grant programs
Participation is voluntary, but the impact is collective. When neighbors come together—even in small ways—the entire community benefits.
An Invitation to Non-Members
You do not need to be a paid member to care about Holden Park.
Non-members are welcome—and encouraged—to:
- Attend meetings
- Volunteer for improvement projects
- Share ideas and feedback
- Help with hands-on repairs or cleanups
- Participate in events and discussions
Membership dues help fund projects, but time, skills, and involvement matter just as much. Whether you can contribute financially or simply show up with a shovel, paintbrush, or good ideas, you are helping make Holden Park a better place to live in 2026 and beyond.
2026 Membership Dues
All 2026 membership dues are now due. These funds go directly toward:
- Community enhancement projects
- Materials and repairs
- Website tools and communication
- Event planning and neighborhood improvements
Every dollar is used with transparency and community benefit in mind.
Website Improvements for 2026
The community website is being updated to better serve residents, including:
- A member discussion board for sharing ideas and updates
- A community newsletter
- Improved tracking of projects, dues, and participation
- Centralized access to documents and announcements
The goal is to make it easier than ever to stay informed and involved.
Community Enhancement Projects
Several improvement projects were discussed and prioritized:
Entrance Signs
- Short-term plan: Repair and refresh the existing signs, potentially including stucco or cosmetic updates to create a cleaner, more modern look.
- Long-term vision: Explore county grants and funding opportunities for a full entrance sign upgrade that reflects the pride we have in Holden Park.
These projects represent the spirit of the community—neighbors working together now while planning responsibly for the future.
Looking Ahead to 2026
This year is about momentum.
Small improvements add up. Conversations lead to action. And involvement—whether through dues, volunteering, or simply participating—helps shape the neighborhood we all share.
If you’ve never been involved before, 2026 is the perfect time to start. Holden Park is strongest when its residents are connected, informed, and working together.
Welcome to the community.
